Wandering Woods explores the serene beauty and quiet mystery of forests across the United Kingdom. Using rubbings and projected imagery, I highlight the resilience and rich diversity of these ancient woodlands while also drawing attention to the growing separation between humans and the natural world. Modern life frequently severs our connection with wild spaces, leaving many of us feeling alienated from nature. By thoughtfully documenting these forests, I aim to inspire reflection on our place within the natural environment and encourage a renewed respect for—and relationship with—these vital landscapes.
