This project explores the serene beauty and mystery of forests across the United Kingdom. Through rubbings and image projection, I aim to illuminate the quiet resilience and rich diversity of these ancient woodlands. At the same time, the photos draw attention to the increasing separation between humans and the natural world. Modern life often severs our connection with wild spaces, leaving many alienated from nature. By thoughtfully capturing these forests, I hope to inspire reflection on our place within the natural environment and encourage a renewed respect and relationship with these vital landscapes.
